I've been demoing different racquets for a few weeks now. Way back when, I really used to like the Wilson Prostaff 6.1 Classic, which is now discontinued.
Several people recommended I try the Prince Original Graphite based on my liking the Wilson Prostaff 6.1
I did, and I like it a lot. However, I played with a longbody racquet throughout most of high school, and I really liked that extra inch. Turns out that the POG comes in a 28in model, but unfortunately, that longbody model is a 100 sq. in. head size, (I prefer 95 or less).
If the POG longbody were 93 sq in, like the midsize version, I would get it without hesitation, but now I'm reconsidering.
It seems you can still get the Wilson Prostaff 6.1 on eBay (even the stretch ver), and it's a 95. But I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to buy a discontinued racquet?
The POG longbody isn't available for demo. Should I consider it anyway ? Or should I consider the Prostaff 6.1 even though it's discontinued?
