Tennis-U.S. Open! Who do you want to win the womans side and who do you want to win the mens side?

I just you guys opinion on who you think should win! Just post your answers and you can even tell me why!

I want Serena and Nadal to win.

However, who I think will win is a different story. I think whoever wins the match between Serena and Venus will win the US Open because they are playing the best of any players this open. I think Roddick will win this year. He's hungry, refocused and is, in my opinion, playing the best on the men's side. He dominated Gonzalez, so he has definitely elevated his game going into the second week where none of the other men have.

On da women's side, i dont the heck care who wins!! Widout Sharapova, women's tennis is d**n PATHETIC!!

On the women's side, I'll be happy with whoever wins, but I think it'll be Serena (and of course I'll root for her, but I'm not as opinionated as I am with men's tennis now). Even though Dinara Safina's been playing really, really well, I think Serena will pull through. I'd be surprised if she didn't win, especially if she beats Safina.

As for the men, I definitely want Roger to win. I think it'll be yet another Federer-Nadal final. I'd be *very* surprised if it isn't. I'm also really looking forward to seeing the Roddick-Djokovic semifinal. Nadal's been having an unbelievable year with Federer hardly winning anything, but, fortunately, the U.S. Open has faster courts than even Wimbledon, so I think that'll favor Roger. Either way, I think it'll be an amazing final.

Roddick I think is the best ever never to win a Grand Slam

Serving at 130mph at the VERY least every time will be hard to beat the way he has been playing lately

I want Roddick to win the mens side. I think it is his turn to shine again. He is hungry for another slam and his lone slam trophy needs company. He is also at the top of his game and he demolished Gonzales the other night.

For the women, I would love it if one of the Williams sisters went to the finals and took home the trophy. They are just spectacular athletes who deserve so much recognition. They are both playing very strongly in the U.s. Open. It is sad one of them will be eliminated tonight.
