It goes 15, then 30, then 40

And why do you get 15 or 10 for winning only one rally?

  1. It doesn't matter whether you call it 1 or 10 or 15 or 20 it's still only one point.

Five points wins a game, doesn't matter what numbers you give them

  2. Looks like there are a couple of theroys, have a look

  3. i once opened my heart to a tennis player and declared my undying love, but she just coldly ignored me ..it seems love meant nothing to her..

  5. Mathimatically, as far as the winning of the match is concerned it makes no difference.

But you might find this insteresting... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_scor...

  7. In tennis, they don't say "one point" or "two points".  They have special words made up that mean the same thing.  To say "one point" in tennis, you have to say "fifteen".  "Two points" is "thirty".  "Three points" is "forty."  If you want to say "zero points", you have to say "love".  It's just the lingo.  When someone says "fifteen", they don't mean fifteen points, they mean one point.  Hope this helps!

  8. hmm  i think because they just want the 3 point ot be different
