Tennis Workout?

okay, so to get in shape for tennis..

our coach wants us to do over the summer:

body weight squats- 20

forward skips down

lateral shuffle

alternating forward lunge

backward skips

lateral shuffle

alternating lateral lunge

forward skips

lateral shuffle

push ups-10

backward skips

lateral shuffle

standing long jumps-3

double leg hops-3

turkish get-up - 3 sets of 6 reps each

every day.

what else should i do?

  1. That's pretty much covers it. I do everything on there, except: I don't think I do turkish get-ups,  backward skips, or double lep hops.


  2. workout looks solid

    not to be to obvious or anything (and you might already be doing it) but actually getting in some practice matches and torunaments would be good use of your time too.

    check out usta for tournies and ask some people around your club/park for a practice match
