Ok i played tennis with my friend yesterday. I had never played before in my life. My friend had spent the last 6 months going to a tennis club where we live. I got into it really quickly and learned how to play quickly like top spin and stuff. I felt really comfortable and i beat him 6-2 6-3 6-4. Do i have like a knack for playing tennis. Remember it my first EVER time i had played and i had no clue at first.

  1. Sounds like you are athletic, congrats.

  2. You must be a tennis prodigy, and a great athlete, to say the least. I have no idea how old you are. Have you watched tennis on TV as a hobby ?  Nevertheless, you have a great potential of becoming a pro. Provided you take lessons or attending a reputable tennis academy or play with your school tennis team if you are a student. There is definitely a potential in you.

  3. yes i think some people are naturally very good at tennis, my brother and i dont play regularly but when we do (at hotels and things) i can do topspin and slices easily. so i think if you are a sporty person you pick it up easily

  4. Sounds pretty good.

If you're interested in pursuing it, you should take a few starter lessons. You'll learn the proper form for strokes and serving that can go a long way in improving your game.

And if you are a truly gifted player you'll improve and advance your game quickly.

Keep at it. Tennis is a sport for life.

  5. Woah! That's really impressive. I've been playing on and off since last summer and I can't even hit it inside the court most of the time. I think if you can beat your friend who has been taking lessons for 6 months and you've never played before, you are really talented. If you like tennis, you should keep at it and take lessons like your friend so you can become even better. Good luck!
