I have a wilson ncode n6, is tht a good racket. And im looking into buying another racket, one that is that price range (that of the ncode). And can u plz tell the basic technique to doing a average backhand. It can be one hander or two handed, but its gotta be like a decent backhand. not those rainbow hits.

  1. 1st of all of your a beginner it wont really matter what type of racket you have $20-$2. if you cant play, you cant play. but if you are frequently breaking strings and you need a new racket try stringing your n code with polyester strings. THEY NEVER BREAK!!!! 2nd the basic back hand technique will be hard to tell you on paper but basically (for a 2 handed back hand) take the racket back with the butt cap pointed at the net and the racket head slightly pointed down. swing out at the ball fully extending your left arm (for a righty) brush up on the back of the ball with your left hand like windshield wipers do a car window. that will let you acheive topspin. finish with the racket over your shoulder and the butt cap facing the net. THERE YOU GO!! good luck dude.

  2. try these backhand videos which can help u http://www.tennis.com/yourgame/instructi...

  3. Ok, first of all when you get a backup racket or another racket, it should be similar if not the same to the one that you already have.  If the racket isn't being made anymore, then get the closest thing to it.  For the backhand, practice the following motion slowly at first, then speed it up.  You should be facing the net on the baseline (I'm assuming you have the proper grips).  Turn your shoulders counter clockwise and take the racket back behind your shoulder.  If you want topspin, then swing under the ball and brush up from the back of the ball, if you want a flatter shot, don't start your swing from underneath the ball but rather level with the ball.  If you need more or less spin, adjusting your grips should help.  Hope this helps!

  4. i use both hands. i recommend just practice practice and PRACTICE!!! that's how i got to get my backhand really good...i have this thing of lifting up my leg in order to hit it good... lol. u might find a good stragety while practacing.... so ya. also, just type in backhand techniques on google and u should get tons of results... as a matter of fact, here...
