Tennis hitting?

You know that power hitting position and stuff, where you push off on a leg and swing it round for more kinetic power? Are you supposed 2 use that on every shot? What about low shots, low shots at net, running shots, when ur opponent is at the net...?? Any tips on how I could improve power for my backhand? Is this power hitting supposed to feel exhausting after a few rallies?

  1. No. When your opponent's at the net, yes. Low shots, yes. Leaning back, no. When the balls high, yes. Not running shots, and when you are at net, yes. For the backhand, make sure you are low and that you bring your elbow into your body. Yes, the power should feel exhausting after a few rallies.
