Tennis racket selection..?

Just like in Golf, do you need to buy a variety of different rackets for Tennis?

lol nooo... its just the opposite, u want to buy the same one so they dont feel different  when u break your strings. but i think u are just beginning so u only need one racket for now.

Definately not..

Buy only one racquet when you start out....It is much better to only use this racquet when you play because all racquets feel different and you will get used to how your racquet plays...

As you get better, you may find that you break strings often so you need backup racquets, but even then you should always buy the same exact racquet....

Look closely at the racquet you buy before getting it....i would suggest demoing them so that you find one that you really like....

No because you only need a few rackets of the same type so if you break a string you don't have to worry about using a different racket that you aren't as comfortable with. so if you have a nice racket. have at least 1 or 2 extra just in case!
