Tennis raquet crack?

Question

i have a massive crack in my tennis raquet my tennis instructer says its useless he said i would have to tell my mum and i dont want to because she will get angry. i have tennis tomorrow i play tournaments all the time do i go with a replacement and by one secretly after school ???

Tell your mum that the crack is due to playing really intense tennis. Then she will think that you are quite as good as Marat Safin and Jeff Tarango.

I have about five rackets all the same type for competition, there are many reasons a racket can crack, mine did two days ago!  Just tell your mom you were playing so hard and well the racket cracked. My dad believed it, even though I knew it broke because I strung it wrong.

Accidentally lose it, then borrow one, then get a replacement

If it cracked by an "accident" it will probably be covered on your mum's insurance.

Leave it somewhere, say you lost it and there you go. Your mom will probably buy you another one.  And maybe you should get two raquets so if one gets messed up you have a another one handy.

Just say that you accidentally cracked it and need another one. Don't lie because it never works and people get angrier.
