When does the tennis season start for 8th graders usually?

For boys, about March. For girls, about November. I'm pretty sure that's right.

[Girls] Training and tryouts start in the summer, matches begin around September or October.

[Boys] Training and tryouts start in the winter... January at my school, I believe. Games begin around March or April and last till June.

For middle school and high school the tennis seasons are different for boys and girls. If you're a girl tennis season starts in in the summer and fall, for boys its winter and spring. So if you're competing against other schools and stuff then practice should start in July and August and the competition starts in September. If you're a boy then the season just ended. But practice for them starts in January and february and competition starts in March
