Question:

Tennis workout drills?

I've been busy with uni for about a year and a half now, and i'm considering starting playing competitive club tennis again.

My game is still there, getting back to where i was slowly but fitness is lacking.

i'm 19 about 5"8 and bout 140lb

b4 i started uni i could easily do 40-45 pushups in one go, now i can barely manage 30.

pushups situps weights, any other training exercises that would help my fitness?

  1. ok. running is very good for tennis because it will improve your cardiovascular fitness and make you last longer while playing (run in the hot weather to give you the extra edge when it comes down to playing someone in the heat)

    using a jump rope is excellent fitness and so is swimming( but it doesnt really make you any better at tennis)

    and if  get board of all thses excericses you can go for a long bike ride and get those leg muscles pumpin.
