Does Tenor Saxophone get good parts in regular concert music

  1. If you mean in a concert band, yes- the saxophones are important.

    If you mean in an orchestra, with stringed instruments, mostly no. There isn't a lot of saxophone in symphony concert music. Sax players in orchestras are usually clarinet players.
