Tense battle predicted in The Night Of The Stars A2 525 at Shelbourne Park
The punters will have to be really wise, as there is no clear favourite in the Night Of The Stars A2 525, being held at Shelbourne Park on Wednesday night. All the runners are expected to earn almost same odds because of their similar performances over the
past few weeks.
According to our calculations, Aussie Vintage is a risk worth taking. Although the blue dog does not have a good record at this track, it is hard to ignore his recent good performances. The son of Aussie Glory recently sealed two back-to-back A2 triumphs
at Clonmel.
In his last appearance, the dashing hound narrowly missed the crown. Ahead of today’s contest, he made a fine solo outing, covering an area of 350 yards in 18.83 seconds. There are plenty of dangerous runners in the line-up, but Aussie Vintage has the ability
to outpace them without a bother.
Others in the crew are: Rathbawn Tommy, Tyrur Stefani, Moneyhill Minx, Endova Ace and Springwood Lego. The officials at Shelbourne Park are due to start the €350 event at 22:10 (GMT).
Victories seem to have dried up for Springwood Lego. The black and white b***h was unable to do anything special last time, finishing fifth behind Brykar Fangio. She is yet to settle down at this level.
Although stepping down to this class would give Endova Ace some confidence, it is hard to expect him to dominate the proceedings after a couple of awful shows at the A1 level.
Moneyhill Minx is coming back to this grade after suffering a lot of embarrassment at the higher levels. She was at bottom of the table in three of the last four races here.
Tyrur Stefani is aiming to bounce back after completing the order of finish earlier this month. Rathbawn Tommy is in very bad form these days, as he could only defeat the back marker last time out.
It is going to be a close contest tonight. According to our predictions, Aussie Vintage will be able to continue his good work and grab a prominent place on the chart. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
