Teny Tiny Red Bugs??

Question

There are these teny tiny red bugs on my back porch. I`ve heard from someone that they can get inside your skin.

What are they called?

they are called chiggers

They are mites that are usually parasitic to birds, squirrels, and things like groundhogs. Lizzards get them as well. If untreated the animal may bacome infested as welll as it's nesting area. However, it is not likely that humans would become infested to the point that they are in (burrowing, nesting and living) human skin. I'm sure there are cases, but unless you are an invalid and the climate is regulated where you sit you will not be afflicted by mites.

they are immature CLOVER MITES go to an entomology site to get a picture and you will see

PS just checked the site and chiggers are so small you need a magnifying glass to see them see the site google chiggers

you have clover mites

Or they may be spider mites, which infest plants.
