Question:

Terbutaline and autism?

How many women have been on terbutaline for pre-term labor and realized your child has autism or developmental delays such as behavioral or speech/language delay. I'm not out ruling vaccines by no means, but I think autism can be cause more than

just vaccines. I have a history of pre-term labor and terbutaline along with magnesium sulfate have been given to me and now my 2 boys have autism and my daughter with behavioral issues. My little one is to small to speculate anything at this time.

I was on this medication for many months, and I was just wondering if anyone else has the same situation as me.

  1. Dont listen to Mary J who seems to be advertising. Even though your concern is valid, sueing is not the answer. You, after all, have the right to say no.

  2. I do not know of what you are talking about, but I do know that Pitocin (induces labor) is also reportedly related to autism.  I think there is a whole bunch of stuff that is not safe that is being used all too frequently as if there are no side effects from them.  I do know that my children no longer have symptoms of autism, from ridding pathogens and toxins.  Apparently the toxins make the pathogens grow out of control and they also adversely effect the body on top of the adverse effects the body is struggling with from latent pathogens the medical world is not using adequate and reliable testing to detect.  They also don't test for toxins.  We need better medical care, and honest care.  I think too many products are getting on the market without good, honest, safety trials, and too many practitioners are getting away with using them any kind of way.

  3. All difficult pregnancy makes children at risk to develop autism:

    It's ALL pure conjecture.

  4. Autism and Terbutaline, Is There a Connection?

Contact the Carter Law Offices in Peoria, Illinois to discuss real legal options with an experienced attorney.

Approximately one in 2,000 children suffers from autism. Recent data suggests that the incidence of autistic spectrum disorders (including Asperger's syndrome) and other pervasive developmental disorders such as Rett's disorder or childhood disintegrative disorder is much more prevalent than previously thought.

The apparent rise in recognized cases of autism may also be a consequence of obstetricians or OB/GYN prescribing terbutaline sulfate (marketed under the brand names Brethine and Bricanyl) in an attempt to arrest or treat preterm labor.
