Terek Grozny’s Stanislav Cherchesov laments Russian Premier League defeat against Spartak Nalchik
Terek Grozny head coach, Stanislav Cherchesov, has revealed his disappointment on the 3-0 Russian Premier League defeat against Spartak Nalchik at Spartak stadium.
After a quiet first half, Spartak managed to take a deserved lead. The visiting side pushed the Orly for an equalizer but lacked the attacking instinct. However, the White-Reds managed to stretch their lead to three goals during
the second period.
“If the first half, we started the game according to our plan but the mechanisms that we had practiced in preparation for this match, knowing the way of playing the opponent, had not worked against them and we suffered a defeat.”
The former Spartak Moscow coach was quoted as saying.
The Soviet Cup winner admitted that it’s always difficult to play on away turfs, and revealed that he expects a better performance from his side when the Russian top division resumes in March 2012.
Speaking on the extreme weather condition during the league match, the Chechens coach said:
“The game is over, and I do not think we should analyze the weather conditions now. Both the teams played under the same conditions.  You can play football in almost any weather because no rule book states to leave a match because
of climatic change.”
The Chechens have proved themselves a strong team under Cherchesov, after their bleak start of the Russian Premier League campaign under Ruud Gullit this season.
The Russian tactician went on to praise Mauricio, revealing that he has complete faith in the Brazilian national who has helped the Russian outfit in difficult times and provided seven goals in 27 appearances. He further highlighted

Terek Grozny midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adlan-Katsayev-c3656, has not featured for his club since the Russian Premier League tie against CSKA Moscow. The Russian national suffered a foot injury against the Moscow-based club.
The former Lokomotiv Moscow player revealed that the Russian midfielder is still recovering from the injury and admitted that he would love to see the promising player back on the pitch when the Russian championship resumes.
