Question:

Terrible Razor Burn! Help?

How on earth do I get rid of razor burn after I shave? I've tried lotion and after shave (OWCH!) but nothing seems to get rid of both the burn and the ugliness after the hair starts to grow back. Anyone got any suggestions?

  1. rub gently with "Vitamin E Oil."

it's sold at grocery stores for about 3 dollars.

  2. Did you use Nair AND shave in one shower? If you did, that razor burn is the worst!!! I just put some vitamin lotion every morning and night, then I waited, and waited and eventually it left.

  3. Ouch!!!

Have you tried, instead of any other means of curing your skin in order to shave, to use hair conditioner on wet skin?

It might even help eliminating the final burn, or at least soothing it.

On top of others' suggestions, be careful with E Vitamin use and seek for Bepanthol cream, which might be extensively useful too! It's European, but selling on web.

    My sympathy!

  4. what she just said..

vitamin  E for healing and Aloe to sooth the burn

check what you have, sunscreen often has Aloe, or massage oils/creams
