I'm 16. I've never been on a plane before, and in 4 days I'm going on one by myself.

I'm so terrified that I'm crying and I can't sleep, I don't think I've ever been this scared in mylife, and it just started tonight.

PLEASE HELP ME

I only have 4 days to stop this

  1. when you get on the plane take some sleeping pills. You will sleep the whole way there. Just be sure you have somebody there to wake you up when you arrive!!

  2. awww dont worry i have been on planes loads of times i think there scary 2 but really theres nothing 2 be scared of

there really safe, there safer than travelling in a car and if u think a flight takes off  and lands every 2 seconds somewhere in the world and how many times do u hear of something going wrong with a plane or a crash not many so dont worry and just chill , i was really worried about flying because im goin to paris soon but ive just stopped worrying theres nothing to worry about!!!

dont worry about going on a plane for the first time just put your seatbelt on it just feels like your in a car but faster then you set off its a bit bumpy but thats it then when your in the air its just like a car you dont think your flying.... just take an ipod or something or you will probs have a tv depending on how long your flight is so take some headphones so you can watch a film ... just stop thinking about bad things an just think about when you get there and what a good time your gonna have ............................ hope you have a good flight and dont worry

  3. First you need to figure out why you are so afraid.  Flying is the safest and quickest form of travel.  It is also one of the easiest and most enjoyable if you let it be.  You get on, if you want to look out the window be sure to get a window seat (the view is spectacular) if not get yourself an aisle seat.  Take your self a puzzle book or something to read.  Make sure you get to the airport in plenty of time to check your luggage and get through security, this is the hardest part of flying. To overcome any fear, first you have to identify why you are afraid. Then figure out if you really have anything to be afraid of. Good luck and I hope you have a wonderful flight!
