what do you think would be a target and what impact would it have without the target?

  1. Nuclear weapon in a major metropolitan area for maximum body count and economic damage.  

    As for the answer above, causing a meltdown in a nuclear powerplant wouldn't cause a nuclear explosion, it would just leak a whole lot of radiation into the air, contaminating miles and miles.


  2. I know that our local nuclear powerstation has really high security because of terrorists. I doubt many terrorists would actually think of attacking it, but if they did, and the site exploded, many towns would be blown off the map! Scary thought, really... hundreds of thousands of people would be killed!

  3. It's hard to know what the target will be, except that there will be a lot of civilians included in it.

    They could do someplace crowded like Disneyland, or maybe just a random section of Los Angeles.  

    It might also be a small rural city; just to do the unexpected.

    Or it could be they will have a group of coordinated attacks in different places instead of one big one.

    That is if you are talking about in the US.  They will feel obligated to do something impressive, not a simple suicide bombing.
