Terry Doyle leads Mesa Solar Sox to victory - Baseball News
Terry Doyle of Chicago White Sox is playing wonderfully in affiliates in the Minor League Mesa Solar Sox. He led his team to a 10-3 easy victory against the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League (AFL).
Doyle’s 4-0 tremendous performance was enough for the Solar Sox to seal the win where he pitched without giving any score and thrilled his opponents with the bat. So far, he is leading his hitting streak to a league-high 12 games with two home-runs and driving
in for four while his hitting average of .348 (16-for-46) has improved.
Terry Doyle is relatively a very young player but at the same time very hard-working, who never stays idle during the game and always seems ready to pitch. Apart from this particular game, his many other inspiring performances are also on record.
The most recent performances of 3-0 record along with 1.08 ERA in total four starts while allowing only four hits against him and three walks in just over 16 innings made him an insistent superstar in the Minor League and earned him the AFL Pitcher of the
Week award. The level of consistency Doyle is having especially in AFL is literally proving wonderful for him.      
Doyle, who gave a recent phone interview, said, “There are a lot worse people to be compared to; He's a guy I look up to in our organization. His velocity is not 95 and neither is mine. That's what our coaches preach: Get on the mound, attack the hitters
and throw strikes.”
The recent good performances of this young pitcher are highly regarded by many baseball experts. The Solar Sox entire roster is very happy over their starting pitcher who is playing with full thrust. On the other hand, many people who are encouraging his
game, also comparing his game and brilliant pitching abilities along with his intelligence at the mound with the White Sox veteran and well-known left-hander Mark Buehrle.
Mark has played for the White Sox his entire career beginning from 2000 and now considered one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball.
