but when you read that there are as many neurons as there are tree leaves in Canada, and that they're all interacting in billions of different combinations...

won't we be extinct long before we get it?

  1. Certainly not. You have to remember that the brain, complex as it is, is a finite system, and therefore amenable to analysis.

    But on the other hand, technology is evolving at ridiculous speeds. Computers were invented only a few decades ago!

    Look how far we've got! I can answer a questoin for someone who lives on the other side of the world in seconds!

    So I reckon it won't be long. As complex as the human body is, I think we have the brain power to decypher it.

  3. Remember as well that as we get closer to unlocking the secret of our DNA, so to do we get closer to understanding our brain! After all, our DNA is the blueprint for not only our brain but our entire makeup.

  4. Yes, the human brain is subject to full analysis. Thanks to A.I. computer research, research into human / computer interface, and mind control research,  the brain is indeed yielding it secrets at a remarkable rate.
