  1. it hurts a little, they get you up on a table and put you in what is called stirrups. to separate and open you up. then they put what is called a serum inside of your v****a to open it up and take a long Q-tip and wipe in on the opening of your cervix to get a sample to check for cervical  cancer.

like 18 or so unless your sexually active I do believe.

  2. No, it does not hurt.  The last one I had I did not feel at all, though I have probably had about 25 of them.

You get them when you either start having s*x, or at least by the age of 17-18, whichever comes first.

  3. well first they will put what is called a speculum in your hoo ha. this is what they use to hold your hoo ha open so they can see your cervix. then they will swab it, this will likely make you feel like your having period cramps. nothing horrible though as long as your doctor is gentle. a girl should start getting pap exams when she starts having periods or around the age of 15 or so

  4. usually about a year after you start your period or after you become sexually active

  5. It's usually when your 18 or when you become sexually active. It doesn't hurt but it just makes you feel uncomfortable.
