With England’s pace bowling stocks thinned through injury to its more experienced campaigners, how much Test experience does the pace bowling attack have coming into the first Test of the series against Bangladesh?

Not a great deal. Stuart Broad has played 26 Tests and is the most experienced quick left in the squad, but he’s yet to be ruled fit to play after suffering with back problems. Liam Plunkett has played in nine Tests and Tim Bresnan in two. Steven Finn  and Ajmal Shahzad would be making their Test debuts, should they be selected.
