what r the black shaddows I see swooping across my wall, I know there there but Im not sure about the black ones.  They seem harmless but a bit of a prankster and I hate that when I';m home at nightby myself and it feels as though they come running up behind me and when I turn I jump about 10 feet and then theres nothing there. Actually I'm remodeling a rental that I havent' moved into yet. Like I said they seem harmless but at the same time I have never seen a black shaddow like this one.   [e-mail]

Are you under the assumption that a lot of paranormal clubs are what you see from Paranormal State?

Those cats are in a college setting, so they included a "curriculum" to their program. But there aren't any degrees in the paranormal.

For the most part, it's on the job training.

It's good for you to know the difference between dust and orbs.

Or a smudge on the camera lens vs ectoplasm.

And definitely know how all of your equipment works.

Know the difference between  normal Emfs versus dangerous ones.

Have a general knowledge in building structures and the components used in the fabrication of the house.

Have some knowledge of an HVAC system.

Have a general knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

Know the physical symptoms one feels if there are large areas of mold in the household, gas leaks, CO2 poisoning.

There is not a 110% fail proof way to rid any one's home of a ghost or spirit.

Studies have shown that prayer doesn't work. So don't expect a priest or demonologist to get rid of an entity.

You just have to go in with an open mind, debunk the normal commonalities that cause the bumps in the night, and don't get spooked over something you can't see.

And don't jump to conclusions if someone sees something out of the corner of their eye.

Darkness and an unknown household can play tricks on the senses.
