The newly appointed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LRPL-Taylor-c1849, reckons that the home Test series against South Africa, early next year, will be the real Test of their performance and will determine their progress in the coming six months.
While talking to media reporters on Friday, the 27-year-old Wellington batsman said that it will be a challenging summer, adding that the home series against Proteas will be an “excellent gauge” of their performance.
"It will be a very challenging summer of international cricket and we are looking forward to taking on South Africa and Zimbabwe at home in front of our fans," said Taylor.

Earlier, New Zealand Cricket announced its home schedule for the next southern hemisphere summer, where the Black Caps will host Zimbabwe and South Africa within a period of two months.
This will be Zimbabwe’s first cricketing tour of New Zealand in 11 years. The low-ranked team was banned from touring http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 in 2001 following alleged human rights abuses by Robert Mugabe’s government. The travel sanctions, however,
were waived off earlier this month, provided the political situation in the country did not decline.
