I have tested positive at 7 days past ovulation with a strong result line, could this be an indication of twins? I have also been feeling a lot more sick and tired than with my first pregnancy, any ideas?

  1. i had twins i had strong result line this is due to the HCG level being higher due to the multiple pregnancy but doesnt mean its twins it could mean that you have just ovulated early or you have a very good PT good luck xx

  2. no

  3. I tested positive 7 days after ovulation as well with my pregnancy - I'm pregnant with a boy. How quickly (days before a missed period) the line shows up depends on when the egg implanted. Most women implant 6 to 12 days after ovulation - with an average of 10. After that it takes an average of 2 days to show a positive on a test. If you happened to implant early then you will get a positive test earlier and it will get darker as the HCG rises.

  4. no not really....i tested positive 6 days after ovulation and i only had one healthy baby girl..lol..so it could be or it couldn't be..just wait until u've had a scan and let the docs tell u wheither it's 1 or 2 but just because u test positive so soon doesn't mean ur having twins...

  5. It could be as stated in most pregnancy cases, but doesn't always mean you are having twins.  Let the dr know and they will most likely do an earlier ultrasound.

  6. Not necessarily, good hpt's are picking up pregnancies much earlier these days. You could get an hcg done and see if those results are pretty high.

  7. LoL that sounds a little funny. I don't remember getting a positive result any faster than the norm with my twins - I tested early don't remeber the exact dpo, but didn't get a positive until after my period was due.

You never know though could be! Good Luck. :)

  8. No that just mean that your hormone levels are high... Congrats
