Tested today and got bfn when should i retest?

Question

today is 9dpo(maybe 8) so i was expecting to get the "not pregnant" but had to waste the test anyway. haha

how many dpo should i retest?

I would wait until at the very least 16-18 dpo if not 20.  You should have an accurate result then.  If you are expecting your period sooner or later than this, it would be better to take it the first day of your expected period.

Only 10% of actual pregnancies get a BFP at 10dpo (according to FF.com) so I would wait a few more days before testing again. Don't worry - it's normal to want to test early!!! But also remember that although the digital tests are nice to look at (and can be read by males without a translation book - LOL) they are sometimes not as sensitive as the 'line' tests. You should now wait until your period is due before retesting.  Any tests done before this time are in-accurate unless they say positive of course.  I would advise that you wait until you have missed your period and then use the first morning urine the very next day.  At least if you do it this way the test is accurate and your not wasting any more money.

I would wait until af is due and if she doesn't show, I would test then, I know it's hard to do but i'm starting to learn that it will really crush your hopes if you test too early and keep getting the bfn.

i was exactly the same when it came to testing

it is most accurate from the first day of a missed period
