Testing in Valencia (Superbikes)?

Question

I cant remember where i heard it. but is it true that some of the teams are not testing because there is nothing to gain from the tyres. Is this what a control tyre does to the racing. I mean if there is no need to improve the tyre(via Competition) and all you can do is set up during the race weekend, Due to weather and track conditions. is this not proof that the one tyre,suits one bike thing does not work

Think Bayliss, Fabrizio and Biaggi are injured and Yamaha Motor Italia opted out this time. Didnt hear anything about tyres, but could be true. Well done Muggeridge!
