Tet/Chinese New Year Vietnam Phrases?

Question

With Tet coming up, our parents this year want us to do our research and to come up with some good wishes in Vietnamese. They're tired of the same wishes every year, so we have to provide something fresh. What are some short, but not too short phrases that can be memorized and said to them before receiving our red envelopes? If possible, I'm asking for differentiated wishes but still effective, as opposed to the usual ones.Thanks!

Here's a list:

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới = Happy New Year

Chúc Mừng Tân Niên = Happy New Year also

Chúc Dồi Dào Sức Khỏe Sống Hơn Trăm Tuổi = I wish you boundless health and to live over 100 years

Năm mới ... chúc ... = In the new year ... wish ...

Nhiều Hạnh Phúc - Lots of happiness

Năm Mới Phát Tài = (I wish you) A prosperous new year

Vạn Sự Như Ý - 10,000 affairs go your way (Everything you want you'll get)

Example to parents:

Năm mới con chúc (mẹ/cha) dồi dào sức khỏe, vạn sự như ý và một năm mới phát tài và mong rằng năm nay sẻ mang nhiều may mắn và hạnh phúc (cho nguyên gia đình)

In the new year I want to wish (mum/dad) lots of health, and for things to go your way and a prosperous new year and I also hope the new year will bring lots of luck and happiness (for all the familly)

there will be a lot of "chuc-ing" [well wishing back and forth].. enjoi.   "chuc" [ pronounced "chup"]...means "wish"... so everything is usually preceeded by "chup";

    "chuc mung nam moi";  wish happy new year[litterally]

     "chuc ban va gia dinh thanh cong, suc khoe, binh anh, nhat la hanh P**c trong nam moi va suot doi"

ban ;friend

gia dinh [pronounced "yah dinh"or "za dinh"]; family

va; and

thanh cong; success

suc khoe[ pronounced "su quair"]; health

binh anh; peace

nhat la; esspecially

hanh P**c; happyness

nam moi; new year[ litterally -"year new"]

va suot doi; and throughout [their] lifes..

   i hope this is clear..mix and match words as you wish.. the vietnamese are very understanding. write down diffrent combonations and practice..

All I have heard people say for western New Year and for Tet is:

Chuc mung nam moi. There are other phrases I have read but not heard (and don't have them here at the moment, sorry.)

"Chuc bo me moi nam khoe manh, suc khoe roi rao. Va chuc bo me moi su nhu y. Va chuc bo me lam gia nhieu tien, tien vao nhu nuoc nhung chay ra dot nuoc"

English, corny translation.

Wish dad and mom healthy, and always be. Wish dad and mom's wishes will alway be achieve. Wish dad and mom make a lot of money like how a river flow in, and spent money like droplet of water.

Try to say that htis year you will be good, make good grade

Kinda like christmas.
