Yes.  It hurts.  You get it in the arm usually from a pneumatice hypo.  If you want to minimize the pain, do some working out with it leading up to the shot.  If you do five pull-ups three times a day for about three days leading up to the day of the shot you can alleviate the pain.

it's the same as any other shot.

it doesn't really hurt, just a small pinch and your done.

i have to get like 4 shots in october, and i'm not really worried.

No! Don't be afraid. Does it hurt when someone pokes you lightly on the arm? If not then this won't hurt. You'd much rather have this little itsy bitsy shot then having to get 500 when you became sick with an illness because you didn't get it, right? of course! Just relax, it will be over before you know it!
