Manchester City’s striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez has gone on to admit that the Manchester based club are rearing to go on and put in some brilliant performances, which will be able to help the team reduce the deficit between them and the league leaders.
At the moment, Manchester United are sitting a comfortable seven points ahead of City, which is something that has been bothering the team quite a bit.
The team has also gone on to report that they are looking to bring in more fire power, because they feel their current strikers just aren’t playing to the best of their abilities.
Instead of this causing the current crop of players to feel rather down, it seems to have spurred them on.
Tevez, when talking about the rumours and words from the team’s defensive coach which stated that they were in line to make a bid for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Edinson-Cavani-c11955 is reported to have said: "Those words were a motivation for the strikers and we know that we need to carry
on fighting"
In their last three outings, the City forward have gone on to bag ten goals in total. Only http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 has failed to score, but that could be due to the minimal time he gets to spend on the pitch.
Given their recent records, Tevez is certain the team has what it takes to overcome their upcoming rivals and put in some brilliant shifts in the coming weeks.
He added: "Last season United lost some games and we were back on track so we will just keep doing our http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684.”

"That's the emotion of the Premier League. It is always a fight to the end and if United lose one game we'll be getting close to them. They will know that."

City are in no position to fight for a European trophy this season, based on those facts, Tevez feels that his side can do rather well domestically and thinks that City have what it takes to go on and win the FA Cup this season.

"We want to keep fighting and I will try to help us compete on both fronts and win both," the Argentine explained.

"Our 2011 FA Cup win was a great achievement and very important because it was also the start of everything here - with us then winning the title the season after that."
Given the way the player seems to be spurred on to perform, it is going to be interesting to see just how he plays this coming week.
