Manchester City striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez feels that he didn’t do anything wrong, but is willing to apologize, if it is going to get him back into the City squad.
The Argentine international had been missing in action from the City camp, ever since he refused to come off the bench and participate in a Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
As a result, the striker was informed that his future at the club was over and that he was expected to leave in the January transfer window.
Despite the club having developed such a strong attitude about the player’s future, they failed to find a club which would sign the striker. With no club having made a decent offer for the forward, he is still a City player.
The team is now willing to forgive the player and let him rejoin the squad, should he apologise for his actions.
Tevez has almost always stated that he was never at fault and the rift between him, the manager and the team had nothing to do with him.
However, as it stands, the striker seems to be willing to apologise for his actions as long as it helps him get back into the City squad.
A very confused Tevez, when talking about his situation is quoted to have said: “I do not think I was wrong, but if they (the club) think so I apologise. I am ready to return, to win and do the best for the club's shirt.”
“Hopefully I can help City to be champions again. The most important thing for me is to return to get fit.
"I always said that at 28 I would retire. Today I say, No, I have much more to give."
With the Argentine having not played football since September, many wonder if he is going to be fit before the season is over. Tevez feels that he is more than capable of returning to full fitness in the near future and has estimated that it would take him
around two weeks, before he can be considered to start for the club.
The striker when talking about his return to the team stated:"In two weeks I play, I think."
