Texaco Oil Group London offers me a job, £7500 salary per month. So they refer me to UK Migration expert to process my work permit. To make it short, before processing my visa papers, work permit (UK) wants me to pay £650 for my visa application, work permit and delivery charge in my address, Philippines. That's too big for me to pay, however please let me know if this is just a scam or a fake? Or is it really true? That they really offer a promising job and salary like that? I don't trust anybody especially if it talks a lot of money but then I really need a job however I can't afford to lose that much.

Also, Texaco company offers to pay my travel expense except that i need to pay first said fee.could i proceed for this pls help me in this regard.

  1. Yes, it is 100% a scam. There are a lot of them pretending to be UK companies, sometimes they use real company names. They will take your money and either disappear, or ask for more.

They have your email address, so you will get more scam emails from the same people, using different company names. Remember - no company offers you a job or job interview by email.

  2. It is a scam. This is very common in the UK. You do not need to pay £650 for a British visa application! I did a search for "Texaco Oil Group" on Google and found this URL: http://419.bittenus.com/8/5/TEXACOOilGro...

It is a scam. If you want to work in the UK you should contact your country's British Embassy. They will offer free and fair advise about what you need to do.
