Question:

Texas A&M or UT austing for becoming elementary school teacher?

which one would be better? i heard they were both good, but i saw on UT's website that they have so much more programs for teachers unlike a&m. so if u know anything about the masters degree for education. let me know. which would u pick. im also going to a community college first so i wont be going there til two years. please help decide where to go.

  1. Baylor haha.  Naa j/k to expensive for a school teacher.  I would pick UT.


  2. I went to A&M so I am a little bias towards them =)  But my field was accounting.  You should pick which ever one offers the best teaching programs, you can find this out by researching both of the schools.  Good Luck!

  3. They are both good schools that carry good reputations - visit both towns and see which would be a better fit for your personality. I went to A&M for my undergrad but got my MAT at TWU in Denton...So let me suggest TWU as well... Denton is a great college town and the program is excellent especially if you are interested in elementary, reading or ESL programs.

  4. UT would most likely be the best choice but at the end I would apply for both. and check the expenses and all of that stuff.
