Texas Drivers...??

Question

If You are over the age of 18 and you get your permit do you have to wait the 6 months?? Or can you just go get your license the next day??

Like my friend is going to take driver's Ed. And she'll get her permit at the end of it.. Is she going to have to wait the 6 months. Or can she just go take the test and get her license??

Since she will be eighteen she can go and test for her license then. She doesn't have to wait the six months that people under eighteen have to.
