Texas Hold 'em Question: 2 pair?

Question

Here's the situation, just wondering what the outcome of the pot would be:

Player A has 2 pair: 10's and 3's

Player B has 2 pair: 9's and 8's

Who would win the pot? Would it split? I'm stuck on this one. Thanks for the help

You always look at which has the higher top pair.  10's higher than 9's so 10's take down the pot.  If they both have the same top pair, then you look at the lower pair.  So 10's and 3's beats 10's and 2's.  10's and 9's beat 10's and 4's.  Then, if both of those are the same, you look at your fifth card to see who has the better kicker.  High kicker wins, then if the kicker is the same as well, pot is chopped.  Hope this helps.

Player A has the better pair in the form of the 10's. So player B will need too try and bluff and get his opponent to fold

Player A would win, assuming there are no other players with better hands and that these are the hands after the river (the last card to come up on the board). In any comparison of two pair, the person holding the highest pair wins.
