Texas Rangers? Playoffs?

Question

Who thinks the Rangers will make the playoffs? They have been in Second place for a while now, but their still 11.5 games back behind the angels, is there anyway they will make it?

Winning the division is out of the question.  The Angels have the AL West locked up.

Wild Card is a more realistic possibility, but they still have to catch up to the Twins, Yankees, and Red Sox.

dude i wish. i dont think they will win the division because the angels are already so far ahead and they got teixeira now but they have a shot at the wildcard if they play good enough

Texas aren't  getting to the playoffs. Were only in second cuz the A's are falling behind and the Mariners can't get themselves out of the hole they dug.  There is NO way theyll make it. Their defense is good and their offense is pretty much unstoppable. Texas pitchers don't have consistency. Sometimes their starters don't even get out of the 3 inning, causing the bullpen to be over worked. Our closer Wilson is pretty bad. His save record is good but he sucks. The offense has to score a lot of runs to balance out what the bullpen will give up.

Rangers key to playoffs =  great pitching. Thats it.

If they can get some descent pitching withing the next day, they have a shot. This is baseball, and the Astros did it a few years ago. If nothing else they can make it into the wild card spot. But they need reliable pitching.

no i think it's done for they have no pitching at all. That has been killing them for the past years. They have all the hitting you can get but no pitching but with the angels now having a former ranger it's done for angels have won the al west. and i think they can't catch up with the other teams in the wild card.
