Texas Resident...?

Question

I want to go to college in Texas and the in-state tuition is so much cheaper. What do I have to do to become a resident besides just moving there. How long does it take?

You must be a resident with taxable income for 1 year.  Just living in the state and going to school paying out of state tuition and not working won't do it.
