There has been a lot of talk about Texas Tech football for 2008. Some polls even have them in the top 10. Will they live up to it?

  1. Not happening. But they'll be entertaining and they should make a good bowl.

  2. Well, if this team was the one playing last year I would say yes. But they have to go to Norman this year instead of playing them in Lubbock like last year. Norman is too tough of a place to play. They will most likely drop that game and another one in there somewhere. They have a powerful team but there defense is ailing as always. You can't win consistently without a stout defense, even if you are Texas Tech. I predict them 9-2 through regular season but not making big 12 championship. They will most likely get into Cotton Bowl. Maybe break BCS but it is doubtful. With OU and Missouri making all the noise they have been in the big 12 I couldn't fathom them sending 3 teams to BCS games if it all plays out like its supposed too.

It certainly isn't a stretch. But they got a tough road ahead of them.

  3. h**l no!! Not in that conference.

  4. i think so for sure.  With Crabtree and Harrell and their amazing O-line they'll definitely be able to put up points.  Only thing that could be a problem is their defense but they return 8 starters there too.  I think they could be as good as Missouri, Kansas and Texas and maybe even challenge Oklahoma in the Big XII.  And i'm not a TTU fan at all.

  5. Maybe...aside from QB Graham and there phenom man-child Crabtree, I don't know anyone else on that offense that can contribute significantly enough to survive in that conference.
