The five cards are: 6 of spade, jack spade, ace of spade, 7 of spade, 6 of hearts. I have a 9 of spade and a 6 of diamonds. Other person has a King of spade and a 3 hearts. Who wins the hand. I think it's a chop because when both players hand are combined, the flush ace is the highest. Can someone give me a site to check this to check to official rules. Thanks.

  1. It is definitely the other person - who has the King of spades.

Flushes are ranked - meaning that if two people have a flush you ALWAYS check to see whose flush has the higher value.

If both players have the same highest card, then you could to the second card.  If that is the same, then you go to the next.  And so on.

There is only one way to split a flush...and that if the flush is on the Board and no one has a card of the same suit bigger than the lowest on one the Board.

Sorry, but you lost the hand.

  2. the one with the highest spade wins in this case the K.
