  1. After reading all the non-sense answers (with the exception of a few) 7-2 suited only has a 18% chance of winning against the Weapons of Mass Destruction.  7-2 unsuited has about 11% chance of winning.  I'll live and die with the Rockets!  You can find this information here...http://www.learntowinholdem.com/poker-od...

  2. you mean youd throw As away, because they werent 72........your the trick.....wheres the question?..................................

  3. it depend pocket Aces its alright but not good. if its 72 suited i would play that hand.

  4. pocket aces

  5. 7 2 has won many times in the game i play in

AA has been cracked many times even with 7 2

a great player plays the person not just the cards

  6. i'd rather play against 7 2

  7. AA is always the best hand... if you really feel like making a play, you can turn it into a bluff on a bad board, but 27 over a large sample size will not win you any money.

Sure the game is about the person, but your 27 has no showdown value... thus it was be a loser in the long run.

Whereas, AA has a ton of showdown value, and is the biggest winner in a million hand database i have where 2-7 is slight loser (mainly due to me folding it constantly pre-)

btw... if you love play 2-7 so much let me know which site you'd like to play headsup on, and for what amount.

  8. Is the 72 suited? I'd rather play 7 2, so many people go bust just because they have aces which is only a pair, yes they could get trips but you could alot easier get a full house with the 7 two, trips or flushes or two pair.

  9. Suited cards make the hand 3-4% better, just for reference.

  10. FIRST, the point of Yahoo Answers is to provide a forum for people who genuinely want answers to their questions.  By mocking people's answers, teasing them to try harder, and such, you make a mockery of the concept.

SECOND, I'll guarantee you that I've played more hands of Texas Hold 'Em than you.  I've literally played well over 1 million hands in both live action brick and mortar games and online.  So, don't play your high-and-mighty-I'm-the-expert c**p with me!  No pro on the planet is going to choose 7 2 over AA.  If you say otherwise, you're an idiot or a liar.  Take your pick.  Yes, AA gets cracked a lot.  Yes, AA is the sort of hand that can cost you your entire bankroll.  I get it!  I get that you get it too!  But you went to the other extreme of what many people consider the worst starting hand in all of poker.  Think about it ... 7 2 against AA, you've got MAJOR problems.  And even if the flop comes 7 2 blank, you might still lose!  The turn is going to produce another card.  As long as it isn't a 7 or a 2 then you have 17 percent chance of the board pairing (the two other cards) or catching a set of aces.

THIRD, NO HAND is more exciting than AA.  Yeah, sure, players love to win with a big bluff.  They love to mix up their games by playing c**p cards like they're aces, etc.  Again, I get every point that you may want to make, but this is like a question out of the Book of Quesitons; i.e., one designed to provoke thought and talk.  But it's a stupid quesiton!  You do you're 30 minutes on why 7 2 is better and I'll say simply: "Give me aces."  And you know what?  I'll win more than you will.  And at the end of the day, that's all that matters in poker ... winning more than you lose.

  11. I'll assume your talking a no-limit game. I would always choose the aces limit or no-limit. You always have the option of folding them.

  12. well pocket aces are top pair but the 7,2 if suited would be a good hand to because of a flush draw.  if the 7,2 is not suited it is the worst hand in poker because it is the lowest pair you can get and you do not have a straight draw either.
