  1. The two stakeholders, are the Mothers of the children, and the state of Texas. Both want the children.

It effected our society's view towards Mormons. People are not realizing that these group of people are not regular mormons, but extremists. I crazy branch off of the regular CLDS (church of latter day saints)

  2. LETS SEE ABOUT 20 MEN 20 WOMEN AND 400 CHILDREN AND ONE BEING FORCED SEXUALLY. IF IT WERE YOU, YOU'D WANT HELP. MY THOUGHTS WHAT I HAVE SEEN AND INFO. RECEIVED  IT LOOKS LIKE CHILD SLAVES. 2 STAKE HOLDERS==CHILDREN SLAVES, VERSUS A CALL FROM A 14 YEAR OLD BEING FORCED INTO s*x AGAINST HER WILL. THE LAW PREVAILS. OTHER INSTANCES IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF OUR COUNTRY HAVE PREVAILED, ONLY 1 MAN  12 WOMEN, NO ELECTRICITY.

  3. The stakeholders are the government and the people.  This has become a classic case of Rule of Law vs. Individual Rights.  Let me preface this by saying that I don't necessarily disagree with what has taken place; if the kids were being forced into sexual relationships as is alleged, then I am all for what has been done.

Now for an explanation of my selection of stakeholders.  First, is the government and the rule of law.  In our society, we are all bound by the notion that the written law is the supreme authority and all of us are bound to abide by it regardless of personal or religious convictions.  In this case, a religious group was allegedly behaving in a manner that was in violation of the law and the government is obligated to enforce it, even if it isn't the most popular move.  Now the other stakeholder is the public.  We have a right to practice religion freely without interference from the government and to be secure in our persons, houses, papers, and effects from unreasonable searches and seizures.  In this case, many are arguing that this is a clear government intrusion into a religious group because their values are in conflict with mainstream values.  Also, there is a debate on whether the government had adequate cause to justify entering the compound and seizing the kids.  That is why I say this is a debate over government power and individual rights.
