Who are the Angels gonna keep?

Texiera wihtout hesitation.  Angels can deal with the loss of Krod.  He's asking for too much anyways and isn't worth the money for sure.

K-Rod is a great closer. They really should keep him. Teixeira is a very good power hitter. So I think they should keep both

Although losing either of them would suck, I think it would be in the Angels' best interest to keep my boy K Rod. [: While we do have other closers, not many of them come close to Frankie.  On the otherhand its nice to finally have a real power hitter like Teixeira on the team, but for now I think we're fine with Vladdy and Anderson.

They should really keep K-Rod. Otherwise, they'll have to find another closer, who may not be so great. They could keep both, but I doubt it. I personally think they should keep K-Rod though, but that's just me.

They should try to keep both, but will probably only keep one, which will be K-Rod. However, that will be the wrong decision. Closers are not that difficult to find. Although K-Rod is great as a reliever, he will be grossly overpaid. Pitching does win championships, but not closers. a teams starting rotation and the bullpen as a whole can win a championship. They would be better served getting three good relievers for the price of K-Rod, who is just one good reliever. Tex is a great hitter, one of the best in the game.

Definitely not both, because Vladdy is a free agents after 2009. It will likely be Teixeira because he has spent the majority of his career in hte AL West, is their best hitter right now, and Frankie Rodriguez is replaceable. Jose Arrendondo  will be their closer in 2009, just like K-Rod replaced Troy Percival in 2003.

I'd hate to lose either of them. A lot of angel fans do NOT like K-rod because he's asking for a lot of money as well and he's a tad cocky. A lot of angel fans i know want him out of here but I think he's valuable to the bullpen. He might be a bit wild but he's a darn good closer. I want him to stay pretty badly. As for Tex he is doing so well for us right now that i really want him to stay. From interviews it looks like he REALLY likes playing on the angels and being in Cali and even Torii hunter is stepping up. He is trying to show Tex how wonderful California is to persuade him to stay. ;)

Although Tex has a idiot agent by the name of Scott Boras i think he might stay whatever the price. (hopefully that price is low) If the angels lose Tex then they only have Morales who is.. alright.

soo.. i think the angels are gonna let k-rod go. I would hate to see him leave but that's what i think. who knows?

My vote is Krod for the Angels' keeper. I'm a fan of hitters, but I know from years of experience that good pitching beats good hitting more than not. Krod is lights OUT! There's plenty of Texiera's out there, but not any Krod's.  Go with Cisco...

Mark Teixeira was a great mid season pick up and has been really helping the team so the Angels should resign him but Frankie on the other hand is the BEST reliever... I would hope they could keep both

If they had a few other free agents leaving they could sign both. I'm thinking they'll sign K-Rod. I think they should sign Teixeira though, they have plenty good relievers to replace K-Rod
