Text jumping and windows minimising on windows...

Question

I have Windows Vista installed on Acer Inspire 5315 laptop.It was pre-installed before purchase. When I am working on laptop and using emailing, online forms,messenger etc, the text jumps backwards into the middle of a sentence for example and windows minimise themselves. Please can you help? It's a frustrating problem.
