Text message/contact problem

Question

When i try to send a message to a particular contact in my phone 
(a Samsung e250v), it saves it, but the message doesn't recieve on the other person's phone.Sometimes it just says in the saved messages file: (no number) and (no subject). what can i do to fix it??
