Text message ringtones for samsung blackjack II?

ok well i know how to set my ringtones to text messages, the only problem i have is that once i select the new text the ringtone keeps playin until its over. and i usually make my ringtones about 30 seconds long because i use them for phone calls too. is there a way that once i read the text message the ringtone can end without making my ringtones 5 seconds long?
