Text messaging question?

I have unlimited texting and I have att. I been texting alot but, I'm confused my mom says theres only a certain number of text I can get/send without it startin to charge extra. and I thought if its unlimited you can TEXT AS MUCH AS YOU want..and thats what every one else says?

So on att unlimited text is it really unlimited or do i have a certain number?

If, the contract says that you have unlimited texting then you should be able to send and receive as many texts as you like. My daughter sent and received over 17,000 texts last month and we just got charged the flat rate (though we do have Verizon). Crazy, huh!?

U shud probably check 2 c if u really have unlimited texting or not. Bcuz unlimited doesnt have a limit....therefore its called unlimited.

i have AT&T and unlimited texting, i get <i>unlimited</i> number of texts. so i think your mom might have lied to you?

It depends on the plan that you have. Some AT&T plans include unlimited texting and all that other stuff, but on others, you have to pay for that. If you remember paying around $20 a month for unlimited texting, then that's right around what I remember AT&T charging on a plan that does not include that. However, the best thing to do is check the details of your plan to make sure.

It might just be your mom has no clue what's going on.
