Textiles assignment ideas?

Question

Ok, so I have a task. I have to design three pillows. Preferably smallish pillows. On the pillows they have to tell a story or relate to me. So i though well i think butterflies are pretty so on each pillow i will go from a caterpillar to a butterfly and all the steps in between. I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions?

You say that your assignment has to do with YOU, so I understand your question to be related to the possible use of the butterflies, rather than to other, totally different, ideas.

If butterflies ARE a good symbol for you, then I think that they are a great motif and could make wonderful pillowcases ( or is it cushion covers? ) ( There is a difference, right? )  

Also, you do not mention what materials are you going to use: paint, fabric....?

Generally speaking, however, the butterfly idea is a winner to me.

Depict a story of cindrella...on 1 pillow cindrella living in palace...2 one she is been tortured by her couisns....on 3rd she meets n kisses her prince....
