Texting UK from Canada?

Question

Im with virgin mobile, and texts are usually 10p. How much do you think it might cost? Will it cost money to receive a text?

With Virgin Mobile and O2 please.

out of curiousity ,whats canada like ?? i plan to move next year ???????ps also look into picture messaging ,it may sound mad ,but to send a pic from a mobile cross country is cheaper ,to send text alone .trust me !!

unless you have a trimode mobile it won't work in Canada.  I have a Virgin pay as you go for the UK and it doesn't work at all in Canada I get no signal.  Also unless you have a car charger you won't be able to charge you mobile either because the voltage and plugs are different.

Ring up Virgin and ask them. Can you do that in Canada?
