my g/f is a thai national living in lom sak ,phetchabun province where is the closest place she apply for a thai passpord we dont want to go to bkk is we dont have to thanks

  2. Here's the web site from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thai passports, but it's in Thai.  Hope your g/f can read Thai.

For those who reside outside Bangkok area can apply at the nearest Temporary Passport Office in Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai, Songkla, Ubon Ratchathani, Surat Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima or Yala (open in January 2008) on 5 working days from 8.30-16.30 hrs. The passports application service will not be interrupted by lunch breaks.

  5. use Bob's suggestion and the link from the guy who likes hairy pitted chicks... I will say, it is quite easy for Thais to get passports.  Getting visas, however, is a far more challenging job...
